Woodend Teddy Bear Show

The Woodend Teddy Bear show is must for teddy bear enthusiasts young and old, for those hunting for a special gift, and for anyone looking for an excuse for a daytrip to the the glorious Macedon Ranges.

Following a very popular launch in 2006, the Woodend Teddy Bear Show has become an annual event. Held on Sunday October 26th, 10am to 4pm, and with the help of wonderful volunteers, the show includes many stalls with handmade bears, old bears, and anything that might have a teddy bear on it.

The show has 40 traders from different backgrounds of bear making, painting bears to dressing bears! Some well known artists will participate in the competition for the best overall bear of the show and various other categories. Pam Campbell, Christie Art, Benson Bears, Rag Tag Teddies, to name a few. Money raised from raffles and the competition go to “Free the Bears Fund Inc” and “Animal Asia”. “Cuddles”, our life size teddy bear, will also make some appearances for the kids.
