Robbies Lookout is almost complete - Check it out!

Local businesses work tirelessly to complete the park

In the lead up to yesterday's Planting Day, local business have been working, literally around the clock. Woodend Nursery has provided yet more mulch. Vlad Basa has placed more softfall and drilled holes to attach the seating which is due to arrive soon. Jamie Zoch and the Callaway Construction team are doing an amazing job with the Robbies Lookout, which looks fantastic. And special tribute needs to be paid to Michael White and his team who have brought in enormous amounts of rocks and clean fill to countour the park and to place hundreds of rocks with 4 machines working until 11pm all week under truck lights to ensure it was ready for the planting day!

Planting day draws volunteer crowds even on a weekday

With just 5 days to go to the opening, crowds of volunteers turned out on a Thursday to plant, to rake softfall, to wheelbarrow mulch, to wheelbarrow concrete, to tirelessly scrape and sweep meandering paths, to lay stone creekbeds, to bucket water thousands of plants, to laugh, to chat, to create. What a fabulous day!

Photos: Mums, Dads, Mums, Dads, kids, tradies, Grandmas - they all helped
