Through extraordinary community and government support, 95% of funds have been raised. The project can now proceed and construction has commenced. The park is almost double the size originally envisaged. The design plans are extraordinary. This will be an inspiring park. Funds are tight and final donations are being sought to enhance the park with additional seating, sculptures, shelters, picnic tables, BBQ shelters, and extensive landscaping to complete the vision. There's also an awesome slide and some fantastic boardwalks we would love to add but cannot fit into the current budget - can you help?

Strategic Partners

		Woodend Children's Park has received an extraordinarily generous $150,000 donation in memory of a courageous boy who continues to inspire and make a vital difference to the lives of others. The donation, from Woodend resident Ray Lodder, honours his son Robbie Lodder who died in 1991 at the age of 11 following a courageous battle against Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.
